Vessels shaped by patience

Elin Vold hand-builds stoneware pieces that hold light, silence, and use — each one fired in small batches from a coastal studio outside Oslo.

Recent work

Tidal Bowl, stoneware
Ash Vase, wood-fired
Still Cup, matte glaze
Low Form No. 4
Salt Jar, unglazed
Dusk Series, triptych

The studio

Every piece begins on the wheel and ends by hand — trimmed, burnished, and glazed with mineral tones drawn from the fjord outside my window. I work slowly, in limited runs, favouring imperfection over precision. Each vessel carries the trace of the hand that made it.

“Elin's pieces don't just sit on a shelf — they change how a room feels. Ours has become the quietest, most loved corner of the house.”
